Meet The Staff

Minister: The Rev. Mark Wolfe. Rev. Mark is from Penetanguishene where he has been the minister for the past 10 years. He join us, along with his wife, Christie, and their 2 daughters Caroline and Lauren. Rev. Mark is originally from Perth County, so knows the area well. He enjoys singing, music, reading, sporting events, the great outdoors, Robbie Burns suppers and spending time with his family. In addition to his deep love of God and his work within the church, Rev. Mark loves people, and “enjoys a hearty sense of humour”.

Church Administrator: Heather Racher was born and raised in Petrolia, Ontario. She was married in 1975 to Don. Heather and Don have 4 children. They are also members of St. Andrew's Church. Heather has been our treasurer since 1992 and our secretary since 1998. Along with many other computer courses, she is a graduate of the Microcomputer Applications Program from Conestoga College, Kitchener. Besides keeping busy with her family, Heather enjoys boating, travelling, crocheting, and working with computers.

Organist/Choirmaster: Earl Clark graduated from the University of Western Ontario. In 1960, he moved to Stratford's St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. He taught music in the 22 surrounding country schools, eventually at King Lear, and Northwestern Secondary School until he was appointed Consultant of Music for Perth County, retiring in 1988. He has served on the part time faculty of both Wilfred Laurier and Windsor University. He has served as adjudicator at many music festivals both at the local and provincial levels. Earl is very community minded and has always been very involved in activities. On Sunday, January 17, 2010, the congregation honoured Earl's 50 years of service as Organist/Choirmaster of St. Andrew's. The foundation of Earl's music ministry is mind, heart and soul are motivated by the partnership of music and word. One cannot exist without the other.

Custodian: John Edmonds worked for Bell Canada for 32 years and upon his retirement 4 years ago, assumed the duties of part-time custodian at St. Andrew’s. This is not a new venture for John as he has filled in for the custodian over many years as the need arose. He enjoys his work at the church and the people he meets there. John is married to Jean and has 3 children, Ryan, Sarah and Rachel and 2 step-children, Jen and Scott. He is also a grandfather to 3 and a step-grandfather to 4. In his spare time, John enjoys doing stained glass. His favourite hobby is spending time with Jean.
